No Powder Calibration (Flow Rate) is required, just select the one you want and start dispensing powder. It dispenses powder quickly and is accurate to +/- 1/10 grain. It can be used as a complete Dispensing System, just a Scale, or as a Scale and Powder Trickler. No. 55 Powder Measure dispenses charge after charge of powder with consistent accuracy to a fraction of a grain. The key to unfailing precision is the 55’s unique three slide adjustable cavity. Extra fine adjustments of width and depth provide consistent charges with almost any powder. A 2400 grain reservoir resists chemical action and protects your powder from harmful light rays--optional 7000 Grain Reservoir available. An attached knocker assures a complete charge every time. Mount the 55 on your bench or any turret press. No funnel is required. Includes a 7/8" x 14 thread adapter for press or optional Powder Measure Stand mounting.

Powder Baffle. Consistent powder drops from the powder measure requires a unifirm powder presure on the roter. The powder baffle maintains this consistent powder pressure even when the powder hopper is low. It fits all Lyman 55 Powder Measures and works on most competitive models with 2 " diameter tubes.

Lyman has redesigned the 55 Powder Measure for both smokeless and black powder. A must for black powder cartridge silhouette and cowboy action shooters. The internal metering bars rotate in a non-sparking brass sleeve. A large non-static aluminum powder reservoir holds a pound of black powder. The unique three-slide adjustment bars are the key to consistent accuracy from small pistol charges to the largest rifle charges with accuracy to a fraction of a grain. Handles up to 200 grains volume of Black Powder or Pyrodex Powder. Mounts on the bench or directly on a press or powder measure stand and includes 7/8 x 14 adapter. With 24" drop tube.
